Philly's Hidden Gems

The City of Brotherly Love has plenty to see. So much, though, that there are some true gems that often get overlooked. Here are a few places worth checking out:

This is my favorite spot in Chinatown. Their Bim Bim Bap (as pictured above) is indescribable! Make sure you try this, their bulgolgi, and fried dumplings to literally take your tastebuds to heaven.

An ice cream place that will top any ice cream you could have ever dreamed of. To be honest, I am not sure what these are even called, but if you ask for the coconut with fruit or an egg waffle cone with their recommendation of ice cream and you will NOT be disappointed. As an ice cream fanatic, I can say with confidence that this is my favorite place in Philadelphia.

Federal Donuts is not necessarily underrated, but their fried chicken sandwich is. Do not assume that this place relies only on their bangin' donuts. They have some of the best fried chicken in Philly! Next time you are there be sure to get their signature fried chicken sandwich (no matter how messy your hands will get in the process).

I used to think I didn't really like Indian food, but then I went to Indeblue. Game. Over. This is one of the most unique and flavorful restaurants I have ever been to. You must get the tasting menu!!! Everything is SO good. They also have great vegetarian options, too!
